The Long Park Tennis Club is operated by a small group of neighborhood volunteers. It is located at 1170 Deer Park Road (corner of Deer Park Road and Meadowlands). Four courts are available to members between April and the end of October, seven days a week, dawn til dusk. For more information, read below or contact Cheryl Clarke (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Long Park Tennis Club will hold three Saturday registrations in the next few weeks on the following dates:
–Saturday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to noon
–Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m. to noon
–Saturday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to noon
Anyone interested in joining can try out the courts for free during these registration times so pass this email along to any friends that may be interested. Weather permitting, nets will be up and courts waiting for players to make use of them. Members are issued a gate key upon registration and have access to the courts to the end of October, dawn to dusk. The refundable fee for keys is $15 or bring last year’s key and exchange it at no charge. We are planning to resurface the courts at the end of May so members will be treated to a pristine court surface for most of the season.
Membership fees are as follows:
-Family (parents and children under 18): $80
-Student (enrolled at university or college): $50
-Junior (under the age of 18): $32
The club will offer a set of five one-hour lessons on Wednesdays starting May 16 at 6:30.
Cost for the package is $55.
