With the weather (finally) turning warmer the rink at Fisher Heights is now closed. It was a great skating season with the rink opening before Christmas and staying open until mid-March.
A big thank you has to be given to Joe and Francesco Martello for getting the ice up and running and keeping it in top shape throughout the year, and the rest of the rink staff as well for keeping the dressing room clean and available. Our rink has one of the longest seasons in the City, and that is due to all the hard work put in by this team.
We look forward to next year’s rink, though we do need to have a summer first!
