The weather is looking up for Community Park Clean Up Day this Saturday, May 4. So grab a pair of gardening gloves and rake, and come on out to one of the six parks in the community at 9am to give back by helping clean up the parks.
Each park will have a ‘leader’ who has volunteered to coordinate efforts and provide yard bags and some basic tools. All YOU need to do is show up and apply a little effort to rake leaves, pick up garbage, collect tree branches, and generally clean the park. No experience necessary!
Come on out and lend a helping had to beautify our community. Bring the whole family, as this is a great opportunity to show the young ones the benefit of volunteering to help the community. See you Saturday May 4 at 9am at any one of the local parks:
- Fisher Heights
- Parthia Park
- Gilbey Park
- Eleanor Park
- Steve MacLean Park
- Trillium Park
