Fisher Heights Community Place (31 Sutton Place) hosts two fitness sessions weekly for those 50 and older, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 10 am.
Muscle toning, cardiovascular conditioning and some flexibility are featured. Improve your balance, coordination and posture through dynamic exercises. Start at your own level and see great fitness gains through this instructor-led class.
These programs are are operated by the City of Ottawa Parks and Recreation branch, and are offered in four segments each year. There are 12 spots available for each segment of courses. Fees vary with the length of each segment, averaging approximately $6 per hour, with a 10% discount for those over 65. You can register by using one of the following methods:
